Ancient Teachings

Perennial and Hermetic Wisdom

These Ancient Teachings and Wisdom has been in existence dating back over the past 35,000 years. Though different words may be used to express them, these universal truths are the same, which is reflected in the established mystical traditions of the East and West. It is perennial in the sense that it is lasting or has been active throughout the years. This perennial wisdom is present in some form in every culture, throughout every period of human history.

►God is contained within all matter and energy, including you and I, in all times and all places (omnipresence)

►God is ineffable, formless, of infinite awareness, understanding, and insight (omniscience)

►There are physical and nonphysical fields of consciousness (the Great Chain of Being, frameworks of consciousness)

►The human psyche exists in physical and nonphysical fields of consciousness and survives death in some form (immortal  soul, source self, entity)

►All matter and energy contain some form of consciousness, all consciousness is “alive” in some form, thus being “alive” is not limited to sentient beings (epistemology: the eye of flesh – monological/quantitative)

►The rational mind can present only a limited view of the Universal Truth that is God (epistemology: the eye of mind – dialogical/qualitative)

►Deep intuitions and conceptualization are the only way to know God through our own, direct experience (epistemology: eye of contemplation – translogical/nondual)

►Compassion, love, service, interdependence, wholeness, and integrity are core values that lead to fulfilling relationships and healthy, productive communities (ethics)

►We create our physical lives based upon our beliefs, attitudes, and expectations

The ancient wisdom teaches the physical existence is known by the rational mind and it modalities, but the source – God – is immaterial and can only be known by intuition, direct experience and to know the unknown. Therefore, it recognizing the source of creation and all things: God. Our personality, or ego, runs the physical world based upon the scripts, beliefs and social consciousness which limits a connection with the source.
