This month's Quantum Message is written by me, Linn Smith. I do not speak or write as technically as Cardell, but I have applied the principles he teaches in my life daily, and I live a life full of joy, peace, abundance and connection to source energy and my inner being. I wanted to share a few words with you and asked Cardell if I could write the message this month.

 

You can probably well imagine how many times Cardell and I are asked the question “How can I say everything in my life is great, everything is wonderful when it is not? It just feels like a lie, it isn’t real, and it just seems silly to say that everything is wonderful when it isn’t.”

 

I can totally appreciate that your current reality may not be what you would prefer, and yes, your life may be in the pits; the reality of your situation may not be how you would like it to be. I must say to you that you created it and are continuing to do so daily. The reality you are currently living has been created by what you thought, said and felt - yesterday, last week, last month and last year. In other words, you are a magnificent creator, because you have created exactly what you were thinking, talking about and feeling not so long ago. If you do not want it, you can choose to change your thoughts to create a better tomorrow.

 

You see, creation has kind of like a time lapse. It isn’t instant, usually. It takes a bit of time for what you are speaking about, thinking about and feeling to become your current reality. That’s okay, in fact it’s great, because it gives you the opportunity to catch yourself when you start having a negative thought or feeling and go, “Whoa, I am deciding to change this thought and feeling so that tomorrow, next week, next month, my life will be much more of what I want.”

 

Can you make that decision? Of course you can. YOU decide what you think and feel – no one else. You are the one doing the thinking, talking and feeling, no one else.

 

This is why running through your stories about what is wrong is so damaging to your life. Every time you talk your story about what hasn’t worked, makes you mad, your illness, your financial problems, your lousy relationship, etc. etc, you are creating more of it for your tomorrow, next week, and next month. You are inviting more and more of the crap back into your life. You are creating your future, which will definitely be more of the same.

So how do you change all of that? First thing is to acknowledge where you are now, and say, “That’s okay! I know where I am, I know what’s not working in my life right now, and I know that I created it.” It will give you absolute power to acknowledge and own that you created it all. It is such a powerful and freeing place to be.

You have created contrast. It’s great to have contrast, because then you know what you don’t want. Next, decide what you do want and focus upon it. Walk, talk and feel what you do want, every single day.

I walk as though it had already occurred, and give gratitude for it. “I have always been…, I have always had…,” whatever you want to create. Then, I throw myself into appreciation for what is. I find everything about my life that I can to appreciate, and then I turn my appreciation on the trees, flowers, animals, stop signs, everything I see, the fact that I can see. Every single person on the planet can find something about their life to appreciate. The idea is to live as much of your life in a state of appreciation as possible.

The state of appreciation is about as close to source energy as you can get. It is simple, pure love of all, and it is a powerful tool for living a peaceful life. AND, when you offer appreciation daily, as much as you can, bits and bits all day, the universe answers and starts giving you more things to appreciate.

It may sound too easy to you. Guess what, it is! Decide what you want, focus on it, and appreciate what you have now. The universe answers. Live every day in an attitude of gratitude!

When you focus on what is and complain about it and beat the drum of how terrible it is, guess what, the universe gives you more to complain about. It is very simple.

Do not think for one minute that my life has always been a cakewalk. Not so long ago, a few years, I was in a terrible place and hated my life. I won’t go into any details because I refuse to “beat that drum.” The reason I mention it is that I learned these things, this big “SECRET” to living the life of my dreams, and started applying the principles daily as I have outlined above. Now my life is blessed. I am so happy, at peace, abundant, and in a state of constant appreciation and connection.

You can live that life too, if you will give up your useless old stories, quit “beating the drum” of those old stories. They are your past. They are what you thought about and talked about in your past.

Your future is in your hands, and you can change it so easily, you will not even believe how easily. And guess what, when you do this, you will look back at the time you used to go on and on about your unwanted conditions and be so thankful that you don’t do that anymore, that you now have the secret to creating exactly what you want. Just by changing a few little things, and applying it every single day.

Cardell and I do this every single day. It can’t be a once in a while thing. Guess what, the crap is there every day, isn’t it? So when you decide it’s time for it to go, then you work at it every day, and it goes away.

Simple and easy to do. It’s your decision. I opted for joy and peace. How about you?
